Viola Day is the author of Finn’s Girl, Ruby. She is working on a chapbook, a project incongruous with the ebb and flow of recent days. When not pulled into her reverie of fiction writing, she is writing and copyediting material for companies under Boss Over Shoulder.
Viola is stirred by emotion and thought to produce work that has lately proved futile. However, her sense of humor tips the scales. While daydreams of becoming a renowned novelist often wake her at night, she is leaning into feelings of insignificance. Viola leads a stochastic life lately as a mother to an electric, wild boy and a yoga teacher, soaked in the spirit of something.
